Going to Italy in May

Hi everyone and thanks to Rick for putting this site up!
It's Sonny's son in Fl. I am planning atrip to Italy in May but have not been there in 15 yrs. Somebody help, LOL! Who do I see and where should I go?
Any ideas...

My wife, me and our 2 boys were in Italy for 3 weeks last summer, but, it was to do all the "tourist" stuff. We went to Rome, Sorento Palermo, Taormina, Tuscany & Siena, Florence, Venice, Lake Cumo and Milan (in that order). Your dad tried to help us meet a relative at Lake Cumo. We talked to her but couldn't set anything up because she was traveling. Marilyn Santili was going to try to look up the Cofrancesco's south of Naples but I don't know how she made out. Her email is "francalbrinidreams@yahoo.com" (she'll have to explain it).
Our favorite stops were Venice, Rome, Palermo, and Tuscany, but we couldn't judge Florence fairly because by the time we got there it was really crowded. I could probably give you more deatails if you want them (we stayed at some great hotels - converted palaces, mansions, resorts etc.).
Have a great trip - we're jealous. If you're ever in CT let me know and plan to stop by. There are a number of relatives within 20 miles (everyone's left Waterbury for East Hartford, Vernon and Tolland in Connecticut and Springfield, MA.
